Ammicon
AMMICON is a liquid form of a consortium of microorganisms capable of reducing Ammonia and Nitrite accumulated in the hatchery tank. It maintains a balanced and natural bacterial community that improves the production of shrimp larvae. It increases the growth rate and survival in terms of production and reduces the ammonia and nitrite toxicity in hatchery. The reduction and removal of ammonia, nitrite and sulphide keeps the shrimp larvae free from stress. It also minimises the need for frequent water exchanges and paves way for a better biosecurity. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Probiotics are best used prophylactically, in smaller quantities and in regular intervals for best results. However, a contaminated system may require a single shock treatment with a higher dose (upto 10 ppm) to gain control followed by normal doses.
Probiotics should not be used simultaneously with any Antibiotics, Chemicals and/or Disinfectants, as it will destroy the live bacteria present. In unavoidable circumstances, allow a considerable time gap between the applications, to minimise the effect.
